The key to 3DSurveyor is the Red Laser spot that serves as a pointer for the CAD aspects of the system. Just move the Red Laser spot along a beam or around a window and the beam or window will draw on the screen. It’s that simple.

Everything 3Dsurveyor does it does in standard AutoCAD DXF format. You can load a drawing from AutoCAD, you can add to the drawing, edit it, or setout those points on the ground. All additions to the drawing go straight into the DXF file and ready to go into AutoCAD back at the office.
