The aim of Cartogoo is to get the systems in as many hands as possible regardless of the profit those hands can provide. With this in mind we are in the process of giving large numbers of systems to universities and research projects. The basic Cartogoo system is free to use. However we do charge a very reasonable fee for the Professional versions, this professional version includes the advanced GPS functionality.

Because of the low costs of our systems Cartogoo cannot fly around the world doing demonstrations the way we would like to. The traditional sales model will not work for low cost systems, it is worth remembering that at the end of the day it is the customer who pays for all those visits. So we at Cartogoo have developed the concept of the “ Virtual Survey Company”, and so most of our sales effort must be done via the internet. We are not only working through the web but also going to be offering online training courses and can even simulate GPS data collection over the web. This “Virtual Survey Company” concept has proven very popular and successful.
